If you are not familiar with this term, it is now the bane of the existence of any pro playing on the revolution network. To learn more about it read this.
The good news is, Bovada seems to be loaded with recreational players. Even though HUDs are not allowed and play is completely anonymous, since you are only able to play up to 4 tables at once, getting reasonable reads on players is fairly easy.
Therefore, with a leap of faith, I am going to start focusing most of my cash game play on Bovada. I will still play on all three sites, but feel my money is better invested on the site with less good players.
Carbon seems to have softer games than Revolution, but the traffic has significantly dropped lately, even at 25NL. As a result, I am likely going to cash out my money there, or just keep it there for the future, since it takes months to receive money from them anyways.
Even though the games are much softer on Bovada, there is no rakeback. However, they do offer a 3% cash back equivalent in the form of frequent player points which can be used to buy tickets into SNGs/Tournaments. I guess it's better than nothing. I think the softness of the games more than makes up for any reward system.
On a side note, my book seems to be doing fairly well in the Kindle store in the two weeks since it's release. It's been hovering in ranking between 45,000 and 75,000 in the past week which may not sound great, but out of over a million ebooks, that's not bad! I do need to do some more work in marketing it. My videos on youtube are not getting that many hits yet, maybe because I make the most boring videos ever :) I definitely need to work on that.
I am thinking about giving away some autographed copies of my book through some kind of contest. I am not sure what to do yet, any suggestions would be appreciated.
